FOUNDER & OWNER
Tina Lork LeBaron
"Midtown look, with a small town feel."
Tina Lork LeBaron curated Urban Monk in 2017. As the founder and owner, her specialties include color corrections and styling. She is known for her "let's try it and see what happens" attitude. Tina credits her technical skills to old school hairdressing (22 years in the making), which she believes provides a solid foundation for her work along with newer trends.
Tina is a mentor and investor in the beauty industry. She originally created Urban Monk Salon as a platform for other independent artists on top of providing an upscale salon experience for her own clients. Her goals include being an asset to the Elk Grove community, developing a platform for her peers, and advocating for the barbering and cosmetology industry. She believes this profession has the ability to reinvent itself each year.
